The JCMS MySQL Upgrader will upgrade previous versions of JCMS to v4.8.4 (released April 23, 2013)

If you have a JCMS release prior to version 4.8.4 with a MySQL database currently in use, you can upgrade your JCMS version by following the steps below.

First, you will need to download the Upgrader utility for JCMS, JCMSInstaller.msi, then double click the installer to install the upgrade utility on your machine. Double click the JCMS Upgrader-Installer icon on your desktop, and follow the instructions in the JCMS Upgrader-Installer guide, which will also be available on your desktop. 

It's always a good idea to backup and save your existing JCMS interface and database files, prior to replacement.
